The D&H Canal Park is a 249-acre park with a one mile section of the Delaware and Hudson Canal. This is the last remaining piece of the D&H Canal with a controlled source of water. This park is also home of the Neversink Valley Museum, which features classic canal era exhibits and memorabilia.
A National Historic Landmark, the D&H Canal Park is open daily from dawn to dusk.
D&H Canal Visitors Center: The Visitors Center is available for group meeting use by advance permit only. Call (845) 615-3830 for permit information. Hours limited to no later than 11:00pm. Occupancy is limited to 48.
D&H Canal Picnic Shelter:  This picnic shelter is located near the Park Visitor Center just a short walk from the parking area. It is ideal for small groups or family outings and is also near the Neversink Valley Area Museum. Shelter occupancy is limited to 120. Electricity is available at this location and the floor is paved.
Please Note: Facility Rentals require advance permit and payment of scheduled fees and deposits. Permits may be obtained by calling (845) 615-3830.
Neversink Valley Museum - Neversink Valley Area Museum offers interesting D & H Canal exhibits and artifacts. Tours of the canal and feeder may be arranged for groups. Special educational and cultural programs are scheduled throughout the year. Admission fees are charged. Call for additional information, hours, etc.
